We get heard….
We lobby to support action to stem the risks of climate change by building friendly relationships with our elected federal, state and local representatives. We do so with respect, appreciation and gratitude for their service. We also learn about their priorities and how our needs can mesh.
We engage in local government events and write letters to the editor in order to offer constructive ideas and get the word out on the dangers of unchecked climate change.
We facilitate presentations and table at events to educate others on climate change and to promote constructive action. We love getting out in our community and hearing what others have to say.
We visit religious and community groups and find like-minded activists and talk with those who may be unsure….
We are passionate about our beliefs that..
Politicians don’t create political will, they respond to it. We believe citizens who are well-trained and passionate can influence the political process.
We have respect for all viewpoints, even for those who would oppose us.
Based on what climate scientists and economists tell us, we believe it is urgent that the United States takes a leadership role in reducing carbon dioxide emissions in order to prevent the worst risks of a warming planet.
